Rocky Point Triathlon 2015

 

Rocky Point Triathlon 2015 here we come!

Saturday, April 25, 2015 is the Las Palomas Rocky Point Triathlon.

So this will be our second year participating in the Las Palomas Rocky Point Triathlon. We have been spectators for several years, but last year just seemed like a great time to “just do it”, also, something about free beer. Now my idea for running is basically only from the beach to the condo for cerveza or margaritas…and I’m not going to lie, when I say triathlon, I really mean strolling a 5K around the beautiful Links Golf Course at Las Palomas. I told myself last year that I was going to train and do the “sprint” or mini triathlon this year. However busy selling real estate and enjoying time on the beach with the family doesn’t leave a lot of motivation to make the time to seriously get in shape for the tri. Maybe 2016 will be the year…

 

 

That being said, we are really excited to be a part of this event. Hundreds of racers from around the US, Canada, and Mexico come to Las Palomas to compete. It’s exciting to watch and be a part of, did we already mention beer?

Please be sure to use the Group ID on their website for the discount rate and make your reservations early because the resort will sell out.

After the 5K, we will be hanging out post race cheering on the competitors. Come stop by if you see us, to talk about Rocky Point, renting or buying a condo, or really anything to get to know us. See you at the finish line!
